Metal Roofing
Metal roofs come in many different colors, profiles/styles, and thicknesses but can be categorized into two main categories. The first being exposed fastener where you can see all of the fasteners holding the metal system to the roof structure. The second is a concealed fastener system where no fasteners should be visible on top of the metal system but concealed within the roofing system. Most metal systems cost more than a standard Asphalt Shingle roof but metal is far superior in lifespan and durability over time. Roof decks can be wood, stone, or rubber. Depending on your roof system, slope, space requirements, and structural support will determine what style/system that someone can pick from. A roof garden is a garden system on top of a roof system. Roof gardens have many benefits for the owner and for the environment. Roof garden systems can be split into two separate system types. The first most common system is a traditional style garden roof and the second stem is a tray system. Depending on soil depth desired, purpose of the garden, and what the structure can support will determine which system is best to use.
